Conveyor systems may use one, several or all conveyor types to transport parts or products across the facility, onto the next finishing process or along the assembly line. Belt conveyors are the most common of these configurations, followed by chain conveyors, roller conveyors, spiral conveyors, overhead conveyors and vertical conveyor systems. Other conveyor types include food conveyors, industrial conveyors, gravity conveyors, pneumatic conveyors and screw conveyors.
